Thanks for coming to Galveston. I found your blog post through a Google feed alert and clicked through because of the AVID title. My son has AVID as a 6th grader at Galveston Early College High School. In fact I'm meeting with the principal tomorrow morning to plan an AVID parent education night. Thanks Veronica. We had a superb time on the island today. It is helping with my very broken heart tonight, since Team USA lost the gold medal to Canada. I'm originally from Pittsburgh and I really love Hockey.
Anyway, great to hear about your son. I think AVID is one of the best educational programs I have ever seen.
